Fractional resurfacing for tone, texture and sun damage.

Fraxel® is a fractional laser treatment that targets a fraction of the skin's surface at a time, prompting the skin's own repair process while leaving surrounding tissue intact.

What it addresses

Fraxel® is used for uneven tone and texture, sun damage, and the appearance of fine lines and scarring. Because it treats fractionally, recovery is shorter than with fully ablative resurfacing.

What to expect

Treatment is usually performed as a series rather than a single session. Expect redness and a sunburn-like sensation afterwards; Dr. Barsky will explain aftercare and sun protection, which matter a great deal to the outcome.

Suitability

Laser treatment interacts with skin type, medication and sun exposure history. Suitability is assessed at consultation.
